Paraquat

Paraquat is an organic compound that is widely used as a herbicide, primarily for weed and grass control. Since it does not penetrate the bark of trees, it can be used for weed control in orchards and vineyards as well as in coffee, tea, oil palm or banana plantations. It is quick-acting and non-selective. Within minutes of application it is rain-fast. It is available in various formulations and other packaging sizes.
