Hamburg, September 2, 2026 – Biesterfeld SE is the holding company of the Biesterfeld Group, one of the internationally leading distribution and service companies in the field of polymers, rubber, specialty chemicals and ingredients, and Bostik, which represents the adhesive solutions segment of French specialty chemicals manufacturer Arkema Group, have expanded their collaboration. With immediate effect, Biesterfeld is authorized to distribute the Born2Bond™ portfolio in Southeast Asia. Building on their successful collaboration across EMEA, the two companies are extending their partnership to support customers in one of the world’s fastest-growing electronics manufacturing markets.
Born2Bond™ is Bostik’s portfolio of high-performance engineering adhesives for industrial applications. The portfolio serves a variety of applications in high-tech sectors. These include semiconductors, automotive, aerospace and defence, LED and lighting, and sensor manufacturing. The collaboration was already showcased at the Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia (EMAX) in Penang, Malaysia, in July 2026, where Biesterfeld successfully presented Born2Bond™ products and applications. The new distribution rights provide the basis for further joint development across Southeast Asia.
