Jonas Borgsten has been appointed Global Business Director for the Engineered Polymers business unit at the Biesterfeld Group, effective March 1, 2026.
Jonas joined Biesterfeld in 2024. The graduate of master's programs in business administration and polymer science brings extensive experience in sales, commercial leadership, and global P&L responsibility from well-known international companies, including Dow Chemical and DuPont. Most recently, Jonas Borgsten was appointed Regional Director North, where he is responsible for the strategic development of Biesterfeld’s polymer business in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics. In addition to this role, he will now assume the position of Global Business Director, succeeding Martin Rathke, who is leaving the company after more than 18 years.
