Laminating pastes from OBO-Werke (master distributor Huntsman Advanced Materials) are used for the production of lightweight, rigid laminate shells and support structures. The laminating pastes with the commercial name RenLam® offer short processing times, which speed up the production process. In addition, lightweight pastes with good heat distortion resistance are available, which enable the production of light yet stable laminate structures. The manufacture of a laminate is simplified and takes less time than the classic process of laminating resins and textiles. Laminate pastes are also used as laminate reinforcements for general tool production.
