Styrolution PS

Product description

General Purpose polystyrene resins are transparent polymers made resulting from the polymerization of Styrene Monomer. GP Polystyrene can be used for both injection moulding and extrusion applications. GPPS benefits from the easy processing characteristics as well as various certifications such as food contact in accordance to EU Directive 10/2011 and in certain cases UL 94 HB.

Impact modified polystyrene resins (HIPS) are polymers with a higher impact designed for various applications. High Impact Polystyrene is produced by the polymerization of Styrene Monemer and the addition of mainly Butadiene rubber. With the added impact, HIPS can often meet the demands of technical applications. Many HIPS grades are meeting the requirements of the EU Directive 10/2011 for Food contact
