Hamburg, 30th January 2024 – Biesterfeld Spezialchemie, one of the leading international distributors of specialty chemical products, pharma and food ingredients, is further expanding its long-standing and successful partnership with Evonik. With immediate effect, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie has been granted new distribution rights in the following regions: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine, for Evonik's Business Line “Interface & Performance". The geographical expansion strengthens the position of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie in Eastern Europe and intensifies the successful cooperation between the two companies. In the construction chemicals market segment, the portfolio includes products under the brand names: SITREN®, TEGOSIVIN® and TEGO® Addibit. In the adhesives and sealants market segment, the product range includes products under the brand names: ALBIDUR®, ALBIFLEX®, ALBIPOX®, NANOCRYL®, NANOPOX®, SURFYNOL®, TEGO® Antifoam, TEGOMER®, TEGOPREN® and TEGO® Rheo.
With the new distribution rights obtained, the product range of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie is now also available to an even greater extent in Eastern Europe. The portfolio in the area of concrete and dry mortar products includes air-entraining agents, defoamers, hydrophobising agents, shrinkage reducers, release agents and emulsifiers. In the field of adhesives and sealants, the product range includes defoamers, substrate wetting agents, rheological additives, dispersing additives, silyl-modified binders, silicones (addition- and condensation-curing), nanosilica additives and impact modifiers.
