Biesterfeld Plastik Ticaret A.Ş. and Biesterfeld Özel Kimyasallar Ticaret A.Ş. have appointed Burak Batukan as Deputy General Manager for both Biesterfeld companies in Turkey as of April 1, 2018. Burak Batukan will support operational responsibilities and, as such, strengthen the current management team around Ekrem Yümlü and Ahmet Göktan, managing directors of the Turkish subsidiaries of the Biesterfeld Group.
Burak Batukan (45) has many years of progressive experience in the chemical industry. Throughout a 20 year career, Batukan has gained extensive experience in technical sales, product marketing and business development across various market segments in a globally leading science company. Prior to joining Biesterfeld Turkey, Batukan was responsible for Turkey, Middle East, Africa, Russia and the CIS region. Batukan is trained as an engineer and holds an MBA degree.
