With immediate effect, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie is to distribute products from its long-term partner Kao Chemicals Europe in Switzerland, thus expanding its offering for the personal care and cleaning industry.
The wide-ranging portfolio includes, amongst others, alkyl ether carboxylates, which are used as mild co-surfactants, emulsifiers and solubilising agents in both cosmetic and cleaning products. These are marketed under the trade name AKYPO®. The glycerin polyoxyethylene esters in the <link https: www.biesterfeld.com en product nonionic-specialties external-link-new-window internal link in current>LEVENOL® and EMANON® product lines are well-established as versatile nonionic specialities and can be used in foaming compositions with beneficial labelling. The range is rounded off by sulphates, amine oxides and ester quats.
