Cortec® Corporation's VpCI® additives are corrosion inhibitors for solventborne and waterborne acrylate, polyurethane, epoxy and alkyd based paint systems.

These organic and inorganic additives can be used alone or in combination with conventional anti-corrosive pigments and serve both long-term protection against corrosion and the prevention of flash rust on iron and non-ferrous substrates.

Unlike conventional anti-corrosive pigments, Nano-VpCI® molecules penetrate deeply into all cavities on the metal surface and thus prevent the corrosion process even at low layer thicknesses.
