The POLYMOULD VE laminating resin series is based on vinylester resins, which are produced through the esterification of epoxy (EP) resins with unsaturated carboxylic acids. The POLYMOULD laminating resins thus combine the properties of unsaturated polyester resins and EP resins. The laminating resins are finished formulations consisting of different fillers and additives and can be used for the production of moulds and tools. In the production of moulds, the resins are often used as a barrier resin between gelcoat and UP resin.
