Hamburg/Liestal, 9 April 2025 – Michael Schenck takes over responsibility as General Manager at Biesterfeld Plastic Suisse AG and Biesterfeld Helvetia AG. The Biesterfeld Group, one of the leading international distributors of plastics, rubbers and specialty chemicals, organizes its distribution business in Switzerland through the two subsidiaries.
Michael Schenck has decades of experience in the chemical industry. The technical business economist has held positions in application technology, research & development and business management for coatings & adhesives in well-known chemical companies. In 2016, he joined the Biesterfeld Group as Head of Sales at Biesterfeld Helvetia AG. With his appointment as General Manager of Biesterfeld Plastic Suisse AG and Biesterfeld Helvetia AG, Michael Schenck will in future be responsible for the entire distribution business in Switzerland.
