Hamburg, 16 August 2023 – Lindberg & Lund AS will change its name to Biesterfeld Norge AS with effect of 1 September. In the course of this, the names of the subsidiaries ABIC Kemi AB and Lindberg & Lund Oy will also be changed to Biesterfeld Sweden AB and Biesterfeld Finland Oy. The distributor of technical chemicals has already been a wholly owned subsidiary of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie since 2019 and will now highlight the affiliation to the international Biesterfeld Group.
Lindberg & Lund has a long tradition in chemical distribution and has grown continuously and significantly since its foundation in 1984. Biesterfeld and Lindberg & Lund pursue the same strategy.
"The name change has no practical consequences for existing partners. Biesterfeld Norge, Biesterfeld Sweden and Biesterfeld Finland will remain leading suppliers of well-known brands within technical chemical products in its markets. We will now highlight the affiliation to the international Biesterfeld Group and the access to new expertise and further product areas even more clearly”, explains Peter Wilkes, Member of the Executive Board of Biesterfeld Group and spokesperson for Biesterfeld Spezialchemie. He further stresses: “With Bjørn-Erik Dahlmann for Norway, Magnus Lagerqvist for Sweden and Jens Lindahl for Finland we have great Managing Directors in responsibility. Together with their fantastic teams, they will continue to provide our customers with the best possible application advice and continue to successfully grow our business together with our partners in these important markets."
