Hamburg/Malmö, 17 October 2024 - Jens Lindahl and Jens-Uwe Pietrock have taken over joint responsibility for the management of Biesterfeld Nordic AB. The Biesterfeld Group, one of the leading international distributors of plastics, rubbers and specialty chemicals, organizes its polymer business in Sweden through this subsidiary.
Jens Lindahl has spent his entire professional career in both the specialty chemicals and plastics sectors and has experience in a wide range of management and executive positions. Born in Finland and a native speaker of Swedish, he will be responsible for the operational plastics business as General Manager, succeeding Peter Eriksson. Lindahl takes on this position in addition to his role as General Manager of Biesterfeld Finland Oy AB, where he is responsible for managing the operational business in the area of specialty chemicals.
Jens-Uwe Pietrock will take over the administrative management tasks from Magnus Lagerqvist, who will thus concentrate as planned fully on his role as General Manager of Biesterfeld Sweden AB in order to further expand the specialty chemicals business in the Swedish market. Pietrock has decades of experience in chemical distribution at Biesterfeld. He has held a variety of management and executive positions there, both with an operational focus and in the administrative area.
