June 2026 – Biesterfeld, one of the world’s leading distribution and service companies in the fields of polymers, rubber, specialty chemicals and ingredients, has entered into a strategic partnership with Osaka Soda Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese manufacturer of specialty chemicals, to expand the availability of high-performance elastomers and specialty additives in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Under this agreement, Biesterfeld’s subsidiary Biesterfeld Petroplas Ltd will act as the distribution partner for Osaka Soda’s products in the UK and Ireland, strengthening its portfolio in advanced rubber materials and performance additives. The cooperation reflects Biesterfeld’s commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions and supporting customers in demanding industrial applications.
The partnership includes the distribution of the following Osaka Soda product ranges:

These materials are characterised by their excellent resistance to heat, oil, chemicals and weathering, making them ideal for applications in automotive, industrial manufacturing, sealing systems and other technically demanding sectors.
