Carbamazepine is an anticonvulsant medication primarily used in the treatment of epilepsy and neuropathic pain. It suppresses the excessive rapid firing of neurons during seizures and prevents the spread of seizures within the brain and is taken by mouth in the form of tablets, sustained-release tablets, as suspension and syrups.
Comprehensive documentation for drug registration of Carbamazepine can be provided by Biesterfeld as referred.
