Kalaguard® SB is the first and only sodium benzoate preservative approved under BPR PT6 in Europe.

It is an environmental- and consumer- friendly alternative to classical household care preservatives such as MIT, MCIT, BIT. Conform to Ecocert, Ecolabel and Nordic Swan.

Easy to use, odour- and colour-less, Kalaguard® SB also offers significant additional advantages to formulators.

It effectively inhibits microbial growth up to pH 7 and is recommended in applications such as cleaners, detergents, fabric softeners, hand dish wash liquids and wet wipes.
