PC/ABS Blends

Lupoy® PC/ABS blends provide high-temperature stability, good impact strength also at cold temperatures combined with good processing and surface properties. It is widely used for interior parts in automotive applications but also as a flame-retardant version, mostly halogen free, for all kinds of E+E applications. PC/ABS blends can be used either in injection moulding as well as in extrusion applications. Selected PC/ABS blends are also suitable for metal plating.

Typical applications

• Painted or metal plated automotive exterior parts such as front grilles, rear-view mirrors

• Interior parts, where good Impact strength at cold temperatures is required

• Parts for the E+E industry providing UL94 V0 at low wall thickness, also halogen-free

• Consumer articles requiring good impact strength and flame retardancy
