Product description

Ateva® G is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVAC) for medical applications. It is biocompatible and has excellent resistance to tissue growth. In addition, Ateva® G is optically transparent, exhibits good adhesion and flexibility and has excellent tear, puncture and impact resistance.

Typical applications include drug packaging, tubing and drainage, dental applications, medical bags for blood or liquid nutrition, wound care or cryogenic storage of stem cells. Ateva® G can also be welded using various methods, e.g. thermally or ultrasonically.

Ateva® G can be processed using conventional processing methods such as extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and others. Sterilization can be carried out using conventional methods such as gas sterilization with ethylene oxide, gamma and electron irradiation.
