Plasticizer

Mesamoll®; Adimoll®; Ultramoll®; Unimoll®; Triacetine®; K-Flex®

Product description

Plasticizers are added to polymers to modify their properties in a targeted way. They position themselves between the polymer chains and reduce the intermolecular forces between them. As a result, the chains can move more easily, making the polymer more flexible, stretchable, and less brittle. At the same time, the glass transition temperature decreases, which allows the material to remain more elastic even at low temperatures. Plasticizers also improve processability because the polymer flows more easily, can be mixed more efficiently, and can be shaped into the desired form.

Biesterfeld distributes a wide selection of different Plasticizers, suitable for a large variety of applications and systems.
