Product description

The filament portfolio of Celanese-Filaments has been offering reliable and high-performance solutions in the field of polymer filaments for more than 70 years.

The Tynex^®and Orel^® product families provide a broad portfolio of filaments for painting applications. Tynex^® is mainly based on PA 6.12, while Orel^® is based on PBT filaments.

A number of factors play a role in this segment to ensure that the paint can be optimally transferred from the filaments to a surface. For instance, the filament tips of Orel^® are tapered in relation to the filament base by a mechanical process to ensure a continuous flow of colour during a painting process. Other factors for an continuous transfer of paint to surfaces are, e.g. the bending resistance of the filaments, high stiffness and the effects of moisture on the material.

In addition, the filaments are available in a variety of different shapes and offer suitable solution for brushes of all kinds.
