Halogen Free Flame Retardants (HFFR)

Product description

Besides the phosphate ester based products from Lanxess Biesterfeld distributes other HFFR like

expandable graphite from RMC Remacon all over Europe, in some countries phosphorus and nitrogen based intumescent systems (based on ammonium polyphosphate and melamine polyphosphate).

Expandable graphites from RMC Remacon are inorganic, intumescent HFFR which are increasingly used in polyurethanes, polyolefins, PVC and other polymers.

Typical end applications are in electronic, construction and transport industries as well as fire protection systems.

Regionally Biesterfeld Spezialchemie distributes special HFFR for diverse applications.

BDP, BDP-LV-S1 und RDP are used in PC, PC/ABS, PCC/HIPS as well as in PUR, epoxy and other resins. Melamine cyanurate and melamine polyphosphate and other HFFR in PA, PBT, TPE, TPU as well as in PUR, epoxy resins and coatings.

The intumescent systems are applied mainly in polyolefin based polymers.

Ammonium polyphosphates are used in resins and coatings.

We are happy to consult you in choosing and applying HFFR.

Additionally we offer brominated flame retardants, phosphorus flame retardants, synergists and smoke suppressants.
