Product description

The products of the Burnock® PU 89 series from our supplier DIC PERFORMANCE RESINS are polyisocyanate hardeners for aqueous coating systems. They are based on a patented technology, where an HDI trimer is modified with a core-shell polyacrylate polymer. They are available in various solvents.

By modifying the isocyanate it is emulsifyable in water and stable without side reactions. In two-component polyurethane coatings this results in numerous advantages such as longer pot life, better gloss retention during processing and prevented gas development. In addition, the usual hardener excesss is not necessary.

Applications for these products are automotive coatings, wood coatings, industrial coatings and corrosion protection systems.
