For medical device (MD) assembly, encapsulation and part fabrication, together with our suppliers
Dymax and DuPont, we can offer UV-curing MD-adhesives as well as room-temperature-vulcanizing (RTV) medical adhesives Silicones.
Curing within seconds via UV-light, the MD-adhesives from Dymax offer a wide palette of adhesives for different applications from (i) multipurpose adhesives for various device assembly, (ii) catheter assembly to (iii) needle bonders. The portfolio is being complemented by medical electronic coatings for sealing and conformal coatings.
Besides the adhesives, together with Dymax we can also offer matching UV-curing equipment. The equipment product portfolio consist of spot-curing, flood-curing and conveyor systems based on LED-light as well as broadband-light sources.
In case another adhesive-technologies is required, our portfolio is rounded off with DuPont Liveo Medical Adhesive Type A for bonding elastomers, synthetics and metals. The solvent-less adhesive cures at room-temperature upon exposure to atmospheric moisture with acetic acid vapor as by-product. After final cure, the resulting elastomer possesses the appearance, texture and general composition of conventional silicone elastomers.
Naturally, all adhesives described above meet or exceed both ISO 10993 and USP Class VI standards.
