Mechelen, February 2009. Effective April 1st, 2009, DuPont Engineering Polymers has appointed Biesterfeld Plastic as its distributor for DuPont(TM) Vespel® parts and shapes in Germany and the United Kingdom. The new agreement regarding this range of high performance polyimide parts and shapes further extends the European area of representation of Biesterfeld Plastic for the Vespel® product line beyond Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Benelux and Eastern Europe.
DuPont's decision to appoint Biesterfeld Plastic as its distributor for these key countries combines the strong, local sales coverage and technical expertise of Biesterfeld with the innovative solutions and downstream market access provided by DuPont.
