Hamburg, 29 September 2023 - Biesterfeld Spezialchemie, a business division of the Biesterfeld Group, is concentrating its business into the three overarching clusters of Industrial, Consumer and Healthcare with immediate effect. Through this new structure and a newly created management level of Global Business Directors, the Biesterfeld Group, as one of the leading international distributors, will strategically drive forward its worldwide market and sales growth.
As Global Business Director for the Consumer cluster, Bettina Heick is assuming overall responsibility for the further worldwide business development of the Lifescience, Essentials and Nutrition departments. She is succeeded as Business Manager Lifescience, covering the market segments of Personal Care and Cleaning, by Bartosz Piatkowski, most recently Sales Director Europe.
In theIndustrial cluster, Dr Jacek Polewski is taking over responsibility for the Polymer Additives, CASE and Performance Products departments as Global Business Director. Sergej But, most recently Head of Sales Europe, has been appointed the new Business Manager Performance Products, covering the market segments Electro, Electronic & Energy, Adhesives & Lubricants and Composites & Tooling.
The Healthcare cluster is led by Dr Andreas Lekebusch and Hartmut Zeller as Global Business Directors. This cluster includes the Pharma & Medical department and the market segments Advanced intermediates and APIs.
