Hamburg, 19 January 2022. The Shareholders´ Meeting of Biesterfeld AG, one of the world's leading distribution companies in the chemical and plastics industry, has appointed Dr. Matthias Kreysel and Christoph Möltgen, two internationally experienced Executives, to its Supervisory Board at an extraordinary meeting.
Matthias Kreysel is Chief Innovation and Technology Officer and member of the Management Team of Migros Industrie, which belongs to Switzerland's largest retailer, the Migros Group. Prior to this he held a number of Management roles including Managing Director, Chief R&D Officer and Marketing Executive at international chemical companies, especially on the industrial and institutional B2B cleaning market. Kreysel has a long track record in the successful transformation of organisations and business models.
Christoph Möltgen has extensive experience as a Supervisory Board member, Consultant and Executive Board member. For several years he served as a member of the Executive Board of Berner SE. This family-owned group of companies is Europe's leading direct distributor of consumables, tools and workshop equipment. Here, Möltgen was in charge of corporate strategy and transformation, digitalisation and IT as well as purchasing and logistics. He was also responsible for the Caramba Group, which produces and distributes specialty chemicals. Before this, Christoph Möltgen held Management positions at the Otto Group, as Chief Transformation Officer and IT Director and in the consulting industry.
