Hamburg, March 19, 2025 - Sergej Lazovic is leaving Biesterfeld at his own request and with immediate effect. Sergej Lazovic was appointed as an additional member of the Management Board of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH alongside Peter Wilkes in 2021 and also joined the Management Board of Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH as an additional member in 2024. Following his leaving, Frank Johänning will take over the management of sales for the polymer business in Germany on an interim basis.

He restructured the business of the former Biesterfeld International and successfully drove forward the merger with Biesterfeld Spezialchemie. Since the end of 2024, Sergej has been responsible in particular for the German sales of our polymer business. I wish him all the very best for the future,” explains Peter Wilkes, Member of the Executive Board of Biesterfeld SE, adding: ”I am very pleased that we have been able to gain Frank Johänning to make our polymer sales in Germany even more customer-oriented and efficient. Frank is an experienced manager and expert and will take on this task in addition to his role as Global Business Director Performance Polymers.
