The expanded partnership enables Biesterfeld to offer the CellAno™ range in additional markets and further expand its portfolio in the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) industry. The distribution rights extend to several European countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.
Properties and applications of CellAno™
CellAno™ is a multifunctional matting and haptic additive available as 2, 5, 7 and 15 µm powders. The solid microspheres ensure uniform matting, stain and polish resistance as well as stable rheology without impairing processability. CellAno™ is also characterized by its high dispersibility and texture-improving properties, making it ideal for paint, lacquer and coating applications. In combination with silica, CellAnoTM shows improved dirt repellency and at the same time increases the proportion of renewable raw materials in the formulation.
