The pharmaceutical quality of this plant-based product makes it suitable for use as an excipient in topical and oral medical products. The agreement applies to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine.
Zemea® USP-NF 1,3-propanediol is manufactured through a proprietary fermentation process using plant-derived glucose and provides formulators with an excellent alternative to mineral oil-based glycols and glycerin.
