The ARKEMA additives are waxes based on polyethylene and polypropylene. They are available as micronised powders or dispersions of these in water or solvent.

Waxes have different effects on coating formulations. They influence gloss, scratch and abrasion resistance, solvent and water resistance, blocking behaviour, sanding and stain resistance.

Crayvallac® products are used in inks and OPV’s, wood coatings, industrial coatings and powder coatings.
