TYMAX®

Product description

TYMAX® is a maleic anhydride (MAH) grafted LDPE, LLDPE, EMA and ULDPE used as tie-layer in multi layer films. This product successfully adheres to barrier materials such as nylon, EVOH and PET in multi-layer films and pipes. TYMAX® is used as a tie-layer in flexible and rigid packaging or to make various recycled materials compatible. Due to the special production method, there are fewer gel specs in the material than in other MAH-grafted materials.

Typical applications for Tymax are:

• Tie-Layer in multi-layer films and pipes tubes
