Dipropyleneglycoldimethylether (DMM; DPGDME) is an excellent solvent for a wide range of organic and inorganic substances. Due to its aprotic and inert behavior, DMM is both chemically and thermally stable. Moreover, it is characterized by its good coalescing properties, its low odor and its low toxicity.
DMM is used in solvent- and water-based coating formulations as well as in cleaning agents.
